Peter Jervis is an experienced Research Chemist with a demonstrated history of working in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry (AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Concept Life Sciences). He also has extensive experience in university teaching, scientific writing, editing and proofreading. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed research papers in international journals. He is a strong research professional, with a PhD in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Birmingham. He has extensive experience presenting oral communications at various scientific meetings and congresses. He is skilled in organic chemistry, asymmetric synthesis, NMR spectroscopy, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), and natural product research. His current research interests are in the chemical synthesis and biological evaluation of peptidomimetics.
