Cláudia Pereira has a degree in Analytical Chemistry by University of Aveiro and in 2000 she concluded a master degree in Chemistry of Natural Products. In 2004 obtained my PhD. degree in Organometallic Chemistry at ITQB/UNL under supervision of Prof. Carlos Romão. In 2005, research continued in the field of catalysis as a postdoctoral fellow at CICECO/UA research center. From 2008-2013 Cláudia deepened her interests in inorganic chemistry and material science by exploring the chemistry of lanthanides and actinides, metal-organic-framework hybrid materials for gas separation improvement. Since 2015, she is a researcher at NOVA school of science and technology interested in the development of lanthanide based optical sensors and hybrid materials for gases separation. Also related with Sustainability, light harvesting using Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells is her most recent interest.
