NUNO FILIPE FIUZA DE BARROS is currently an Auxiliary Researcher in Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas (LIP), under an Individual CEEC contract. He is also an Invited Assistant Professor at FCTUC (Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade de Coimbra). He completed his PhD in Physics (Doutoramento em Física) in 2012 by Universidade de Lisboa for his work in the optical calibration and oscillation analysis in the SNO experiment. He is member of the SNO+ Collaboration where he holds the role of Analysis Coordinator of the Water Phase and Co-Coordinator of the Optical Calibration Working Group. He is also a member of the DUNE Collaboration, where he is the liaison between the Calibration and Cryogenic Instrumentation Consortium and the Computing and DAQ Consortia. He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His area of expertise is the area of Particle Physics, more specifically his expertise is primarily related to the field of neutrino physics. He has experience both in computing and instrumentation development; having held several coordination positions in the experiments he's participated.
