Ana P. Tedim (APT) has 40 published articles in international journals with peer review (10 as a first author (1 also as corresponding author), 1 as a PI, 22 collaborations, 4 as part of COG-UK and 1 as part of CIBERESUCICOVID). Most of these publications are in Q1 journals according to JCR, with the exception of 7 publications (4 Q2, 2 Q3 and 1 without impact factor). APT has an h index of 21 (19 since 2019) and a total of 2723 citations (2223 since 2019), according to google scholar. As part of the group of Dr. Bermejo-Martin she obtained a patent. APT received an Extraordinary Doctorate Award by the Facultad de Farmacia de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid for her European PhD Thesis. APT has participated in 43 national and international conferences (16 oral presentations and 64 posters). As a statement to the quality of the works presented APThas been given travel grants to different conferences and courses: i) 4th ASM Conference on Enterococci, 5th-7th March 2014, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, financed by American Society for Microbiology; ii) Bioinformatic Tools in Clinical Microbiology, 16th-19th September 2013, Santander, Spain, financed by European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID); iii) 22nd ECCMID, 31st March – 3rd April 2012, London, UK, financed by ESCMID; iv) 21st ECCMID, 5th-10th May 2011, Milan, Italy, financed by ESCMID; v) 19th ECCMID, 16th-19th April 2009, Helsinki, Finland, financed by EESCMID, vi) ESCMID Conference on Enterococci: from Animals to Man, 18th-20th November 2009, Barcelona, Spain, financed by ESCMID. APT has participated in 16 research projects of which 5 international and 11 national (10 from Spain and 1 from UK), including her first project as a PI which was obtained from the competitive call of ESCMID Research Grants. In 2017 APT applied for the highly competitive European Union Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships program. Her proposal was not elected for funding, however, it (PARDIS, ID: 794081) received a high score (89.20%) and was awarded a certificate of excellence from the EU to be used for future grant applications. APT also received a Sara Borrell Post-Doc Fellowship (CD18/00123) financed by Instituto de Salud Carlos III, 2019-2022. APT received her first project as a PI in 2019, an ESCMID Grant (April 2020-March 2022). As a Postdoc APT has received Grants for three 3-month stay in different European research centres: i) SEIMC grant for short-term traineeship at the group Microbes in the Food Chain at the Quadram Institute of Bioscience, Norwich, UK under the supervision of Dr. Justin O'Grady (February-April 2020); ii) SEIMC grant for short-term traineeship at the Microbiology Department in Faculdade de Farmácia, Universidade de Porto, Portugal under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Luisa Peixe (October 2017-January 2018); iii) FEMS Research Grant (FEMS-RG-2016-0090) at the Department of Medical Microbiology, University Medical Center Utrecht, Utrecht, The Netherlands, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rob Willems (March-May 2017). APT evaluated the research project call for Fundamental and Applied Research of the Latvian Council of Science in 2021. She also regularly reviews for 13 journals including The Lancet Microbe and Scientific Reports. APT has been responsible for the supervision of 7 students (periods from 3-12 months) and was lab manager of the Molecular Microbiology laboratory, Microbiology department, Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal (09/2013-12/2015). APT have 3 major lines of work at the moment: i) Enterococcus molecular epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance in a One Health perspective; ii) diagnosis of bloodstream infections using next-generation PCR (droplet digital PCR); iii) SARS-CoV-2 molecular epidemiology and COVID-19 patients severity stratification using next-generation PCR (droplet digital PCR).
