Dennis Goldschmidt has obtained his BSc degree in Physics in 2012 from the Georg-August University Göttingen, his MSc degree in Neural Systems and Computation in 2015 from UZH and ETH Zurich. Since 2016, I have been a PhD student in the International Neuroscience Doctoral Programme hosted by the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown. In 2017, he joined the Behavior & Metabolism Lab led by Carlos Ribeiro, Ph.D, at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown. He is interested in applying his background in physics to questions from neuroscience, in order to develop experimentally testable and predictive models. His general research interests are in Computational Neuroscience, Dynamics, Machine Learning, and Neurorobotics.
