Susanne Tanner is a researcher at Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (MARE). She obtained her PhD degree in Marine Biology and Aquaculture by Universidade de Lisboa in 2012. Her core research areas are: (1) modelling and predicting the impacts of climate change and exploitation on growth variability, fish populations and marine ecosystem productivity, and (2) modelling and estimating fish population structure and connectivity using different natural markers.
