I was involved in the committee that organised the event and selected and contacted international speakers. 2016/09 - 2017/05 Organisation of the 11th Annual Meeting of the Gulbenkian Students, that took place on Vimeiro, Portugal. Annually, the PhD students of the Gulbenkian Institute have a meeting in which they expose their work to their peers and to principal investigators, both international and from the institute. I was part of the organising committee for the 11th edition of the meeting and was responsible for contacting and organising the venue, logistic arrangements, contacting international invited speakers and selecting abstracts from the delegates.
