Eugenio Garribba is a Full Professor in the Department of Medicine, Surgery and Pharmacy of the Università degli Studi di Sassari, in Italy. He graduated in Chemistry ("Laurea in Chimica") in 1995 and obtained his PhD ("Dottorato di Ricerca in COMPLESSI DI VANADIO DI INTERESSE BIOLOGICO") from the Università degli Studi di Sassari, in Italy in 2001. Eugenio Garribba holds 232 (over 95 as corresponding author) publications with a H-index=49 and 7334 citations according Scopus. He undertakes multidisciplinary studies on computational biology and biochemistry. His research interests include the synthesis/characterization of metal [namely vanadium (V) and copper(Cu)] complexes with potential pharmacological activity (metallodrugs) addressing by both experimental (e.g., EPR spectroscopy) and in silico [e.g., Docking calculations, Density Functional Theory (DFT), Molecular Dynamics (Quantum Mechanics (QM) and Quantum Mechanics/Molecular Mechanics (QM/MM)] approaches (e.g., 10.1002/anie.202310655, 10.1039/D3QI01023F).
