**Human + Machines > Human or Machines** As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics at the School of Management and Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, I hold an academic position about teaching, promoting, and spreading knowledge. In this role, I also serve as the director of the Higher Professional Technical Course in Cybersecurity, Networks, and IT Systems and the Deputy Director of the Bachelor's degree (1st cycle) in Computer and Network Security. I have taught various computer science and cybersecurity curricular units to promote knowledge throughout my academic Journey. My academic Journey has also seen me not just as a teacher, but as a dedicated researcher. I have collaborated scientifically with the Algoritmi Centre at the University of Minho and participated in numerous national and international scientific projects. These experiences have culminated in my current role as a researcher at the CIICESI - Centre for Research and Innovation in Business Sciences and Information Systems. This role allows me to continue researching the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and informatics applied to Law and try to contribute significantly to these fields. My research interests focus on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Informatics applied to Law. I have dedicated my academic and scientific career to these areas, and my work tried to significantly impact the field. I research and apply AI algorithms to validate and understand the challenges of capturing and computing domain-related information in an intelligent environment, contributing to the advancement of AI and Cybersecurity. I have also contributed to scientific production by authoring and co-authoring more than 30 indexed papers in these fields.
