Vito Evola

Vito Evola, Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics, with a focus on Cognitive Linguistics (2009). He has been Contracted Researcher at FCSH, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2014-2023). Formerly: RWTH Aachen University, Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology, Université de Génève, Università di Palermo, University of California - Berkeley, Case Western Reserve. He has taught graduate and post-grad levels since 1999. He has published 2 books, 13 book chapters, 11 journal articles (including Tier-1 and high-IF). He has co/organized 6 inter/national events, and received 8 awards/honors. He has participated in various research projects, including Integration into Research Grant Fellow, Invited Scientist Fellow, Researcher in 4 projects, and Co-Editor/Supervisor. He works in the areas of cognitive linguistics, media and communications, with overlap with social psychology, sociology, and anthropology. He has collaborated with 35 colleagues on scientific papers.
