Urtzi Enriquez-Urzelai concluiu um Doctoramento em Ecologia em 2018 pela Universidad de Oviedo, um Master Universitario em Biodversidade Animal em 2011 pela Universitat de Barcelona e uma Licenciatura em Biologia em 2010 pela Universidad del País Vasco. É Pós-doutorado na Universidade do Porto (Centro de Investigação em Biodiversidade e Recursos Genéticos). Publicou 8 artigos em revistas especializadas. Participou em 11 eventos. Coorientou 3 dissertações de mestrado. Coorientou 2 trabalhos de conclusão de curso de licenciatura. Participou como Bolseiro de Doutoramento em 1 projeto e Investigador em 4 projetos.
