Maria Madalena Alves Campos de Sousa Dionísio Andrade has a degree in Chemistry - Physical and Inorganic Chemistry - from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (1986) and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Instituto Superior Técnico (1993). She get the habilitation in February 2017 and has been an associate professor at the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the New University of Lisbon since December 2020. Researcher at the Associated Laboratory for Green Chemistry, LAQV-REQUIMTE, and coordinates the Laboratory of Dielectric and Calorimetric Properties of the Department of Chemistry at FCT NOVA. Author of 88 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and 3 book chapters. Member of the team of 20 research and development projects, in 5 of which she was Principal Investigator. She has supervised 5 PhD students. She was the main supervisor for 3 of the doctorates that have already been completed. Member of the Scientific Council of the Integrated Master's Degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering (MIEQB) at FCT NOVA between 2011 and 2019. Member of the Scientific Council of the degree programme in Chemical and Biological Engineering (LEQB) since 2021. Member of the team that has collaborated with secondary schools since 2010, contributing to the preparation of students representing Portugal at EUSO 2017-2019; collaborates in EXPO FCT since 2007. Member of the board of FaCiT (FCT NOVA's solidarity association) from 2011 to 2016; member of the organising committee for the FaCiT NOVA race 2015-2019. Maria Madalena Alves Campos de Sousa Dionísio Andrade, licenciada em Química- Ramo de Química-Física e Inorgânica - pela Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (1986) e doutorada em Química-Física pelo Instituto Superior Técnico (1993), realizou as provas de agregação em Fevereiro de 2017, sendo, desde Dezembro de 2020 professora associada no Departamento de Química da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Investigadora do Laboratório Associado para a Química Verde, LAQV-REQUIMTE, coordena o Laboratório de Propriedades Dielétricas e Calorimétricas do Departamento de Química da FCT NOVA. Autora de 90 publicações em revistas internacionais com revisão prévia e de 3 capítulos de livros. Membro da equipa de 20 projetos de investigação e desenvolvimento, em 5 dos quais como Investigadora Responsável. Orientação de 5 estudantes de doutoramento. Em 3 dos doutoramentos já concluídos foi orientadora principal. Membro do Conselho Científico do Mestrado Integrado em Engenharia Química e Bioquímica (MIEQB) da FCT NOVA entre 2011 e 2019. Membro do Conselho Científico da licenciatura em Engenharia Química e Biológica (LEQB) desde 2021. Membro do Quadro da International Dielectric Society desde 2008; reeleita em 2018. Docente de 12 unidades curriculares tendo sido regente de 4. Membro da equipa de 2 projetos pedagógicos em Partilha e Divulgação de Experiências em Inovação Didática no Ensino Superior Português. Membro da equipa que colabora com escolas secundárias desde 2010, contribuindo para a preparação dos estudantes que representam Portugal na EUSO desde 2017; colabora na EXPO FCT desde 2007. Membro da direcção da FaCiT (associação de solidariedade da FCT NOVA) de 2011 a 2016; membro da comissão organizadora da corrida FaCiT NOVA 2015-2019.
