Sofia Cerasoli Salvatori

Sofia Cerasoli Salvatori completed her PhD in Forestry and Natural Resources in 2002. She is an Assistant Professor at the Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto Superior de Agronomia. She has published 25 articles in journals and contributed to three book sections. She has organized six events and participated in two. She has supervised one PhD thesis and co-supervised another, as well as supervised 5 MSc dissertations. She has participated in 4 research projects as a Principal Investigator and as a Researcher in five. Her work focuses on forest and environmental sciences, with a primary research interest in the carbon-water trade-off in Mediterranean forests and agroforests, as well as ecophysiology. The methods she adopts to study these topics include eddy covariance and remote sensing.
