Amine Ben Seghier is an MSCA Fellow at Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway. Prior to joining OsloMet, he was an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellow at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon's Surface Institute (Germany). Dr. Ben Seghier works in a variety of engineering disciplines, with a focus on sustainability and resilience of steel structures. His expertise include AI-based modeling, structural reliability analysis, and design optimization. Dr. Ben Seghier has authored 60 peer-reviewed scholarly papers in multidisciplinary engineering journals. These contributions have received significant attention from the academic community, with over 2000 citations and an H-index of 29. Mohamed El Amine Ben Seghier's global participation is demonstrated by their numerous international collaborations (more than 80 scholars from around the world). He also co-organized numerous workshops and mini-symposiums at prestigious conferences, including a workshop in Germany to secure corporate funding for cutting-edge research efforts. He has earned several prominent grants and fellowships, including the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Fellowship, Humboldt Research Fellowship, 4TU-Resilience Engineering Grant, and Helmholtz Information & Data Science Academy (HIDA) grant.
