Currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Science Teaching and Dissemination, having completed the curriculum year with an average of 18.3 out of 20. She completed her Master's degree in Food Science and Technology on 2008/05/09, at the Portuguese Catholic University - School of Biotechnology, with a dissertation on "Selection of lytic phages to infect Salmonella," approved with distinction. This work resulted in the publication of two articles in specialized journals and two presentations at conferences. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Microbiology on 2003/12/31 at the Portuguese Catholic University - School of Biotechnology, with a final internship at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, with a final grade of 16 values. She has been a teaching professor in the recruitment group 520 for 14 years and is a certified teacher by the British Department of Education, with 6 years of experience in the Cambridge International curriculum, in Lower Secondary (Science), Pre-Advanced, and Advanced levels (Biology). She recently published a new article on bacteriophages. Authored a book on Biotechnology - laboratory protocols for health sciences. She works in the area of Natural Sciences with an emphasis on Microbiology and the role of the Human Microbiota.
