Skills & Abilities -R Programming Skills: • Advanced knowledge of R programming language and associated libraries (dplyr, ggplot2, etc.) • Proficiency in writing R scripts for data handling, analysis, and visualization • Experience in developing custom R packages and functions for data manipulation • Ability to debug and troubleshoot R code -Analysis of Epigenetic and Genetic Data: • Thorough understanding of epigenetic and genetic data formats (Methylation, Chip-seq, RNA-seq, GWAS) • Skilled in data cleaning, pre-processing, normalization, and transformation of epigenetic and genetic datasets • Proficiency in statistical analysis of epigenetic and genetic data (regression, ANOVA, multiple testing, etc.) • Experience in interpreting and communicating epigenetic and genetic data analysis results -Data Visualization: • Expertise in creating interactive data visualizations using ggplot2, Shiny, and other R libraries • Ability to create customized visualizations to effectively communicate epigenetic and genetic data • Ability to design and implement data-driven dashboards for data exploration and reporting -Bioinformatics: • Experience in developing bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and analysis • Knowledge of bioinformatics databases (NCBI, UCSC, Ensembl, etc.) -Biostatistics: • Expertise in statistical concepts such as descriptive statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, etc. • Proficiency in using statistical software packages (Mostly R) for data analysis • -Knowledge of various models and techniques (regression, ANOVA, factor analysis, etc.) for data analysis • Ability to interpret and communicate statistical results effectively
