Soumya Gupta concluded her Master of Technology in 2021 from VIT University, India and her Bachelor of Technology in 2019 from Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University, India. She has published journal articles, and book chapters, has worked on 5 projects in the area(s) of Engineering and Technology, Biotechnology with emphasis on Bioremediation, Environmental Biotechnology and Microbiology and is well-versed with the instruments and techniques in the related fields. She has participated in national and international conferences, hands-on workshops, online courses and internships. Currently, she is enrolled in a 3rd cycle PhD program in Biochemistry at Universidade da Beira Interior, Portugal and PhD program in Chemistry at Universidad de Zaragoza, Spain under a Joint PhD project funded by FCT under UNITA Consortium. She is looking forward to contributing to the scientific community and developing her research and interpersonal skills.
