Journalist from the Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA, Brazil), Master in Journalism from the University of Beira Interior (UBI, Portugal), and PhD in Communication Sciences from the same institution. Currently, I serve as Planning and Marketing Management Manager at Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), a public company linked to the Secretariat of Social Communication of the Presidency of the Federative Republic of Brazil. In academia, my research focuses on new communication media, such as journalism designed for mobile devices. Specifically, I seek to understand how young people consume news and how the platforms they use are adapting to meet these new demands. My research explores the reconfiguration of the media ecosystem for production, distribution, and consumption, combining academic expertise with practical experience in a major media conglomerate, which enables me to evaluate and implement the applicability of my research within the context of EBC. I also have teaching experience, having served as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Dr. João Manuel Messias Canavilhas at the University of Beira Interior in 2021 and 2023. Professionally, I have experience in radio, working from 2012 to 2014 at Ipê FM and Líder FM stations in São Borja/RS, Brazil. In television journalism, I collaborated for two years with the Pampa News web newscast on the university channel of UNIPAMPA, where I started as a producer, became an anchor, and later the editor-in-chief before moving to Portugal. In addition, I am certified by the National Aeronautical Authority (AAN) as a drone pilot, which enhances my skills in photography, including aerial photography. My background also includes experience in corporate communication, providing services for companies in various sectors such as tourism, transportation, events, and agribusiness. Throughout my career, I have received awards in digital communication, including Best Blog in Brazil at the INTERCOM congress (2013) and Best Digital Journalism Production (Blog, Social Media, and Podcast) for two consecutive years at the SET Universitário of FAMECOS/PUCRS (2013 and 2014). With this broad experience, I seek to continue contributing to innovation in journalism and to explore new communication formats to attract and engage new generations of news consumers.
