Andreia Raquel Albuquerque do Amaral Pereira completed her Master's in Tourism Management in 2019 at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, School of Technology and Management of Viseu, and her Bachelor's in Organizational Communication on February, 2015, at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, School of Education of Coimbra. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Tourism, Heritage, and Territory at the University of Coimbra, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, since 2019. She has authored 5 articles in journals, contributed to 10 sections of books, and was part of the scientific commitiee and organization commitee in scientific events. She has received 4 awards and/or honors. Andreia participates and/or has participated as a Research Fellow in 3 projects and as a Researcher in 1 project. Her work is primarily focused on Social Sciences, with an emphasis on Tourism, Urban Studies, and Educational Sciences. Her main research focus are Tourism Safety, Crime, City Tourism, Risk Perceptions, Women and Travel.
