André Resende Rodrigues da Silva completed the Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering in 2007 by Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI) and Licenciatura in Aeronautical Engineering in 1999 by the same institution. Dr. André R R Silva is an Assistant Professor in UBI at the Aerospace Sciences Department (DCA), Member of the Departmental Scientific Committee, and Manager of Open Science in the Associate Laboratory for Energy Transports and Aeronautics. Dr. André R R Silva is a researcher in the Associate Laboratory for Energy Transports and Aeronautics (LAETA), Scientific Coordinator at the R&D unit Aeronautics and Astronautics Research Center (AEROG) of LAETA. Dr. André R R Silva published 80 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and 150 in international conferences. He has two books and four book chapters . He completed the supervision of 7 Ph.D. (6 FCT fellowships) and 64 MSc students. Currently, he supervises four Ph.D. (1 FCT fellowship) and 8 MSc students. He has participated in more than 20 national and international projects in Aeronautics and Energy. Dr. André R R Silva works in the area(s) of Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Aerospace Engineering. In their professional activities, he has interacted with 157 collaborators in the co-authorship of scientific papers.
