Dércio Martins has a PhD in Education, with specialisation in Distance Education and eLearning, from the Universidade Aberta (UAb). He has a Master's degree in Education and Information and Communication Technologies (Digital Technologies), from the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon (IEUL) and a degree in Education Sciences from the University of Madeira (UMa).
