After completing my 4-year bachelor's program in Classical Languages and Literature at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (FLUL), I pursued further studies with a master's degree in Classical Studies at the same institution. My master's thesis involved the analysis and translation of fragments from Seneca's "De Matrimonio." Currently, I serve as a researcher at the Classical Studies Centre within the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Lisbon. This position is supported by a grant from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). My ongoing doctoral research focuses on parenesis and the use of "exempla" in Seneca's philosophical works.
