Graduated in Pedagogy at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1994), I am also a theater actor and director; Posdoc (CAPES) with a training job performed together with the Master’s degree in “Theater and Community” at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, Portugal (ESTC – 2014), where I carried out research and teaching in the training of “Pedagogue Artists” (graduated in Theater) (Wengorovius & Aguiar, 2014); Doctor in Performing Arts at the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (CAPES-REUNI-2011 / research line “Processes and Tecniques of Scenic Creation”), where I carried out phenomenologial research in history, space and identity of the theatre in Belo Horizonte (MG) (Aguiar, 2011). I had as references: Methodology of Research in Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Cultural History. This research studied the phenomenon of “group theaters” in Belo Horizonte in the 1980s; Master in Theatre (UNIRIO-CAPES-2006 / area of study: “Theatre, Culture and Education”), where I developed anthropological research in Theatre and Community in Minas Gerais. I have worked in this area since 1992 (Aguiar, 2008). As references, the cultural history and anthropology, and cultural, education and theater studies. Pedagogy and Teacher’s Training Teacher at the Uiversidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG); Effective member of ABRACE (Associação Brasileira de Pesquisa e Pós-graduação em Artes Cências), I provide consultancy in research and continuing training for teachers of Children’s Education; I was a teacher’s trainer in “ProJovem” (Program of education for youth and adults, at the Youth Secretary/Federal Government/Fundação Darcy Ribeiro, 2005-2011); As an actor and theatre director, I have participated of training and artistic works since 1986. Between 2000 and 2011, I have developed theater works for patrimonial education together with the Abílio Barreto Historical Museum in Belo Horizonte (MG).
