Filipe Quintino graduated in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy, in 2017, at Instituto Superior Técnico. Currently, he attends the Leaders for Technical Industries doctoral program, under the MIT Portugal program, at Instituto Superior Técnico. His research has focused on the topics of gaseous biofuel combustion, gas interchangeability, energy efficiency and emission of pollutants in domestic burners. In detail, his study has focused on hydrogen and biogas blends and their introduction into the energy mix, as well as analysing the performance of these mixtures in current equipment and innovative configurations. Filipe has published 2 peer-reviewed articles in international journals as well as 3 conference papers. In addition to his research, he was a teaching assistant for the “Combustion” curricular unit at the master's level at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2018. Moreover, he co-supervised 5 Master's dissertations, two of which are currently underway.
