Gianluca De Moro. I completed the PhD in Environmental Biology in 2013 at University of Trieste and from 2016 I work as Auxiliary Researcher in CCMAR (Centro de Ciências do Mar). I am a bioinformatician with more than 13 years of experience in computational analysis and management of genomic data. I have an highly developed knowledge in genomic / transcriptomic assembly and annotation projects and gene expression studies, an extensive experience in python development of genomic analysis tools (such as GFFalign) and data analysis worklow development with Snakemake and CWL. In the last years I worked in both of the EOSC-LIFE editions as main developer in one of the demonstrator project of the first edition and, in the second, current, one, as co-developer of the pipeline for the analysis of the EMO-BON data.
