Dina Amaro is a collaborating researcher at the Centre for Studies in Geography and Spatial Planning (CEGOT). She holds a PhD in Tourism, Territory, and Heritage, along with a degree in International Relations, a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Master’s in Relational Marketing. Her professional journey began in 1996 in development cooperation, where she worked on projects in emerging countries. Since 2011, she has focused on higher education and currently leads the International Office at the Polytechnic of Leiria. Her research interests include destination marketing, higher education marketing, academic tourism, and consumer and tourist experiences.
