Gopal S. Mishra (myself), completed his Ph.D. on “Polymer Chemistry” and have more than 18 years experience in research and
handling of independent projects in heterogeneous catalysis, nano-materials synthesis, coordination chemistry and application
for industrial significance reactions, such as Biomass gasification, Gas phase alkanes O2 oxidation, H2 hydrogenation of hydrocarbons,
methanol fuel cell. He has strong instrumental handling skills of SEM, TAM, XRD, XPS, TPR, FTIR, NMR, TAG, DSC, UV, NMR, BET,
ICP, Raman and GC/MS etc. Moreover, he has received 05 research projects as Principal Investigator and 04 projects as Co-Investigator
(from FCT and DST). He has the author of overall 76 publications among them 25 publications as main corresponding author and
5 Portuguese patents and 01 word patent as main inventor. See my CV on website: http://orcid.org/0000-0001-6566-7218.
—In brief, I have got Ph.D. form Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, India in topic “Novel initiator synthesis
for olefin polymerization and kinetic study”. Recently 2019, my same Ph.D. thesis has recognized (Doctorate Reg. No. 220190021826)
by University of Aveiro, Portugal. After Ph.D., He has joined Postdoctoral fellow at Chem. Eng. Dept., Indian Institute of
Technology, India with Prof. Anil Kumar (FNASc.). A “Young Scientist-2001” award and research project have won to pursue an
independent Investigator by Dept. Sci. & Tech. (DST), India in “Heterogeneous catalysts for alkanes O2 oxidation”. In year
2004, I won a PDF position at Functional Materials Group at Chem. & BioChem. Eng. Dept., South Florida University, US.
After 2004 and 2007, I got two time PDF fellowship form FCT, Portugal and moved to Prof. ALJ Pombeiro’s group at Istituto
Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, in “Heterogeneous Catalysts and application”. In may 2008, he has appointed as Auxiliary Investigator
(5 years contract) at Materials Chemistry, UTAD University, Portugal. During this period, we have syntheses in Nano-catalysis
for hydrocarbons reactions in batch reactor and established own research group. Few time back, he moved to KAUST, Saudi Arabia
and work with Prof. JM Basset, Director, KAUST Catalyst Research Centre in Methane decomposition for fuel cell project. Since
year 2016 to June 19, He has joined as Investigator at Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering, DEMAC, CICECO, University
of Aveiro, Portugal in group of Prof. Jorge Frade in the area “Catalytic gasification of biomass to H2 rich syngas production”.
Concerning research collaboration, We have been produced joint research published with Prof. S. Suzuki, Physics Department,
Kyoto University, Japan; Prof. GB Shul’pin, Moscow University, Russia, Prof. A. Kumar, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),Kanpur,
India and Prof. AJL Pombeiro, IST, Lisbon University; Prof. Cristina Freire, REQUIMTE, Universidade do Porto; Prof. S. Mukhopadhyay,
IIT, Indore, India and some more.
