Rui Manuel Furtado Bezerra. Received the BSc degree in Biology (Universidade de Coimbra) and PhD degree in Biological Engineering Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD). He is currently an associate professor with habilitation at UTAD (Environmental Biochemistry), and integrated member of the Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences ¿ CITAB. I&D activities have been developed at the Biochemistry lab and research interests include enzymology, lignolytic enzymes, cellulolytic enzymes, bioremediation with white rot fungi. bibliometric indicators: h-index 19 (Scopus ).
