Ana Isabel Geraldes Rodrigues completed her Integrated Master's in Biological Engineering with a specialization in Chemical and Food Technology at the University of Minho (UM) in 2011, achieving a final grade of 15. She earned her Ph.D. in January 2020 as part of the Doctoral Program in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Biological Engineering Center of UM. Throughout her career, she has dedicated her work to Research and Development (R&D) of innovative solutions in the agri-food sector, spanning from wine and olive oil to the valorization of by-products for the production of biosurfactants with antifungal properties against commonly contaminating fungi in food matrices. To date, she has published 9 articles in specialized journals and authored 1 book chapter. She has participated in 7 events, supervised one master's dissertation, and has been involved as a Research Fellow in various projects, serving as a researcher in 2 projects. In her professional activities, she has collaborated with 43 colleagues in co-authoring scientific works.
