Vander Rocha Lacerda

Biological Scientist I at the University of Florida (UF-IFAS-TREC). Doctorate and Master's completed in the Graduate Program in Horticultural Agronomy at the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of the Paulista State University 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' Campus Botucatu-SP, Brazil. Inter-University Exchange Doctorate at the University of Algarve, Portugal. Short Inter-University Exchange Doctorate at the University of Cádiz, Spain. Lato sensu specialization (partial) in "Didaco-pedagogical Processes for Distance Learning Courses" at the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (UNIVESP), where he acted as a facilitator Professor. He served as a professor at Faculdades Integradas Norte do Paraná - UNOPAR, Brazil. Agronomist graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - Campus Montes Claros - Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Brazil. He was an international academic exchange fellow at the National University of Asunción, Paraguay. He was president of the Study Group on Exotic and Native Fruits (GEFEN) for one year. He is a researcher, lecturer, producer and organizer of events in the culture of Pitaya, in addition to experience in the areas of plant propagation, post-harvest biochemistry of fruits and vegetables. He was born and raised in the agricultural field.
