Carlos M. Costa obteve o seu mestrado em Engenharia Informática e Computação na Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto em 2015 e encontra-se atualmente a realizar o doutoramento na mesma universidade no programa doutoral em engenharia informática, ao mesmo tempo que investiga no Centro de Robótica Industrial e Sistemas Inteligentes do INESC TEC.
