PhD in Geosciences in 2007, University of Aveiro; Graduation in Geology, 1995, Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Since 2013, Assistant Researcher at the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere, Marine Geology and Georesources Division. Integrated research member of the Instituto Dom Luiz (Associated Laboratory). Published 36 articles in ISI journals, 12 book chapters.
