Sara Cabral is a PhD candidate at the MARE - Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (University of Lisbon). She completed the ERASMUS MUNDUS Master in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (Ghent University) in 2014 and graduated in Marine Biology (Universidade do Algarve) in 2012. Sara is also habilitated with CCP (Certificate of Pedagogical Competence - certificate n° F663310/2018) and owns the driving license for the category B1 and the recreational marine driver license. She published 7 research papers in international peer reviewed journals and 1 book chapter. Her scientific research activity has been developed in natural sciences and biology, particularly in aquatic ecosystems ecology, marine biodiversity, fisheries management and non-indigenous species. Additionally, she has good competences working with ArcGIS, Primer, R programming and SigmaPlot.
