Cláudia Raposo de Magalhães graduated in Biology (2014) by the University of Lisbon, and holds a Master's degree in Aquaculture and Fisheries (2016) and a PhD in Sea, Earth and Environmental Sciences (Specialization: Biological Sciences) (2023) by the University of Algarve. Her doctoral thesis, which was carried out in the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR), was focused on the identification of farmed fish welfare biomarkers using an integrated approach comprising multiomics techniques and bioinformatics. Cláudia worked in CCMAR since 2017, under different research projects and her main expertise lies on the application of omics techniques (proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics) and bioinformatics on the aquaculture field. In 2024, she started working as a Scientific Researcher in SPAROS, Lda. Cláudia published 17 articles in scientific peer-reviewed journals (8 as first-author), 4 book chapters, participated in 5 national and international projects and lectured in 6 proteomics workshops/courses.
