Cláudia Lima Costa graduated in Criminology (2012) and Law (2017) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (FDUP). She has a master's degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon on the subject of "Civil Liability, Capital Markets and Artificial Intelligence. The particular case of imputation of damages to quantum neural networks and intelligent financial intermediation". PhD student at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (since 2023) on the subject of "Welfare as a solution to the damage caused by neural networks. From the individual human black box to the hybrid black box" at FDUP. Postgraduate in Artificial Intelligence in Legal Practice (2023) at FDUL. She is currently attending the Advanced Postgraduate Programme in Personal Data Protection Law at FDUL. She has been a lawyer since 2019, practising mainly in the areas of commercial, corporate, litigation and arbitration and, lately, data protection and technology. Areas of interest: civil liability, data protection, and technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing, with a special focus on deep and quantum neural networks.
