Inês M. Luís completed the M.Sc. in Biochemistry (with Specialization in Biomolecular Methods) in 2011 and a Degree in Biochemistry in 2009, both by Universidade de Aveiro. She attends the Ph.D. program Molecular Biosciences by Universidade Nova de Lisboa - Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica, since 2016. Her Ph. D. focuses on the study of the posttranslational regulation of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase, a key enzyme of the C4-photosynthetic metabolism in maize.
