Luísa de Pinho Valle is a PhD candidate in the Democracy in the Twenty-First Century program at the Centre for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra, conducting research funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). She holds a degree in law (USU/RJ, Brazil), with specialization in public law and public management (UniCEUB, Brazil), a master's degree in law (UnB, Brazil), and in social and legal sciences (UPO, Spain). She is a member of the International Collective of Peasant Feminist Economies and the Working Group on Contemporary Legal Critique at UFF-Brazil. Her research and work interests include ecofeminism, feminist economies and alternative economies, feminist sciences, agroecology, food sovereignty and autonomy, human and nature rights, participatory technopolitics, decolonial, postcolonial, and post-development pedagogies, epistemologies, and methodologies.
