Sou licenciado em Biotecnologia e Mestre em Engenharia Biológica e Química. Como estudante participei na V e VI Jornada de Biotecnologia e na I e II de Engenharia Biológica e Química também colaborei com a “Oficina das Profissões” dia aberto da Escola Superior de Tecnologias do Barreiro (EST-B) e ainda participei no Inspira Barreiro durante a 4ª, 5ª e 6ª edição. A nível profissional fui estagiário e posteriormente bolseiro entre 2020 a 2022, neste percurso participei no ICDBB (International Conference on DNA Barcoding and Biodiversity) com um poster com o titulo "Unveiling the diversity of the deep-sea pedunculate barnacles Poecilasma (Cirripedia: Thoracica) from the Gorringe Bank, in North-East Atlantic Ocean" embarquei no Mário Ruivo por 27 dias durante a campanha de crustáceos organizada pelo PNAB - IPMA. Hoje Redação/participação de três artigos científicos (em progresso: Unveiling the diversity of the deeo-sea pedunculate barnacles Poecilasma (Cirripedia: Thoracica) in North-East Atlantic Ocean; Seagrasses benefit from mild anthropogenic nutrient additions; Assessment of the ecological status of the benthic macrofauna communities of the alentejan coast) e tenho um artigo já publicado "Vieira, V. FRONTIERS IN MARINE SCIENCE, 9". A nível profissional, sou atualmente assistente convidado no IPS na EST-B e leciono a disciplina BMC - Biologia Molecular e Celular.
