2022/02/12 - 2022/02/13 The international online symposium Transcultural Exchanges: Mapping Movement of Art, Ideas, and People in Asia explores through two days of thematic panels (February 12-13, 2022) two historical periods of intense interaction in East Asia. We revisit exchanges of people, ideas, and objects during the First (1550-1700) and Second Global Age (1840-1945) with a focus on cultural transfer and communication through visual and material cultures.
