I’m interested in Conservation Ecology mainly of birds and meso/large carnivores using several methods: transects/snow-tracking, howling, camera-traps, diet analysis (Eurasian otter), play-back method, bird point count , bird census and bird ringing. I've well developed statistical and spatial analysis skills, working with R and QGIS. Right now, I'm working on my PhD project on the interactions between native and alien avifauna in Europe.

2023/11/04 - 2023/11/10 This is a highly successful international course that introduces the fundamental concepts underpinning ecological niche models (ENM), describing some of the most prominent methods currently in use, and discussing the strengths and limitations of these models for different applications. The course gives equal weight to theory and application. The students will have the opportunity to learn how to run ENM with the SDM R platform (Naimi & Araújo 2016 Ecography).

2022/05/16 - 2022/05/20 Under the general framework of Global Change Ecology, the goal of this course is to provide the participants with the most recent and practical knowledge on the use of Functional Diversity. This includes the selection of functional traits and calculation of Functional Diversity Indexes. The specific objectives are: general overview on global change drivers and point out the needs of current and future studies on Ecology; synthesize the most useful methods and tools for Ecosystem Services assessment, focusing on Ecological Indicators.
