Patrícia Fernandes Rocha (1974, Portugal) is a researcher and architect. Completed a PhD degree in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Porto University (FEUP) with a thesis concerning a multicriteria decision support system developed for residential buildings to be used during the architectural design process, which includes maintenance issues. Completed a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation of Built Heritage from the Faculty of Engineering of Porto University (FEUP), and graduated in Architecture (ESAP, 1998). ERASMUS Student at the École d'Architecture Paris /Tolbiac (1997/98). In 2014 joined the group Gequaltec/FEUP, where develops research activity, namely the coordination in projects focused in building maintenance, the organization of scientific events, as well as its dissemination through conferences, lectures and publications in the national and international context. Patrícia´s research and practice experiment collaborations between architecture, rehabilitation, refurbishment, consulting and building maintenance, with a focus on building maintenance to be included since the early design stages. Published 16 papers in Conferences and Congresses proceedings, has 7 book chapters, 1 book with other authors and 6 articles in international indexed journals. Member of the research group GEQUALTEC – Management and Technology of Building Construction of the research unit - Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction - CONSTRUCT.
