Currently, she is a researcher at the Center for Textile Science and Technology (2C2T) of the Department of Textile Engineering at the University of Minho (UMinho), in the European project be@t "bioeconomy at textile" with a focus on research in sustainability and circular economy in the Textile Industry and Clothing. She has experience as a trainer in short courses and workshops in industrial and academic contexts. She was a scientific researcher (University of Minho, 2021) in the OSSINOV Project (Innovation in Occupant Safety Systems for Vehicles), a partnership between the company ZF and UMinho in textile innovation in safety systems for vehicle occupants. She has professional experience in the automotive industry as a mechanical engineer (Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, S.A., 2018) and in the textile industry as a designer (DKSportswear, 2023). In 2021 he completed the Master's degree in Design and Marketing of Textile Products, Clothing and Accessories (University of Minho), and in 2016 the Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Energy and Environment (University of Minho). She is the creator of her own clothing brand "Bubamara" based on circular economy principles, which resulted from her master's thesis in 2021.
