She is a PhD researcher in Language Education and Technologies. She holds a Master Degree in Teaching English and French,
a Graduate Degree in Languages and Modern Literatures - Portuguese and English Studies - specialization in Teacher Training,
a Post-Graduate Degree in Inclusive Education, In-Service Teacher Training Degree and holds a Bachelor Degree in Management/Administration
Adviser/Assessor. Her academic and research interests include Languages, Intercultural Citizenship, Inclusive Education, Digital
Design and Integration of Technologies in Language Education and also exploiting cooperation opportunities between Education
and Business with particular interest with EU Initiatives & Programmes. At present and for over 25 years she performs various
functions as an Education Professional, namely teaching and collaborating with various Educational Schools for Basic and Secondary
Education. She is a Professionalized Teacher of Portuguese, English, French, Design & Technology, Management and Inclusive
Education. She is also an integrated researcher at CETAPS (Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies) at
Nova University Lisbon. Furthermore, she also collaborated at the University-Enterprise Training Partnership (UETP) in Greece
under the Comenius/Comett EU Trainership Programme. She had the opportunity to live and work as a Teacher, Translator and
as a Manager/Administrative Advisor/Assessor within the scope of the EU Programmes, particularly cooperating in the sector
of Career Guidance, Professional Training and Education Policies and International Student Mobility. Playing an active role
in promoting European Union Programmes of Cooperation, Study and Research in Professional Training and International Education
and Work Experiences in collaboration with multi-stakeholders - Universities, Institutions, Agencies, Associations and Enterprises
- to foster Languages, Intercultural Communicative Competence, Digital Competence, Entrepreneurial Competence as well as innovation
and know-how transfer. She was awarded some EU Socrates/Erasmus School Education Teacher Mobility Grants in France and in
the United Kingdom.
