Specialties: - Deep Neural Networks, Tensorflow, Theano, Biosignal Processing, Machine Learning; I’m a Portuguese Biomedical Engineer with a vast and multidisciplinary experience. My career choice was made based on my passions: health and the human body; and technology and development. The evolution of computers, graphics and robotics combined with deeper understanding of human nature, both physically and psychologically, highly motivates me. My goal is to unite these passions and make something new. During my time University of Minho, while graduating, and I.T jobs, after graduation, I developed not only proficiency in programming, but also adaptability, independence and self-didactic skills while enrolled into various projects, teams and subjects. I also had the honor of starting a PhD in Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) at Instituto Superior do Técnico (IST) where I matured my knowledge in Electro-Encephalogram processing. During these last years at Nova University, I am developing Deep Learning algorithms capable of delivering useful information from biosignals, namely Electrocardiograms and Electromyograms, imposing innovate solutions for processing and decision of large amounts of data.
