I studied Mathematics and Computer Science and obtained a PhD from the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST) in 2015. After two years as a postdoctoral researcher at Technical University Munich (TUM) I joined Queen's University Belfast as a Lecturer for Applied Mathematics in 2017. I am working on the intersection of Mathematics and Computer Science with research expertise in topological data analysis, stochastic geometry, random number generation and discrete mathematics as well as industry experience in data analysis and software development. Furthermore I have vast experience in teaching and project supervision in higher education and hold Certificates for Teaching in Higher Education from the UK (PGCHET) as well as from Germany (Zertifikat für Hochschullehre).
