Participation in several courses in the area of sleep such as ''Clinical Polysomnography and Sleep Medicine” – School of Sleep Medicine – Stanford, USA and the “13th Annual Course in Pediatric Sleep Medicine” – School of Sleep Medicine Stanford, USA, as well as in several international internships, namely, Internship at the Stanford Sleep Disorders Center, Stanford, USA; Internship at Karolinska Institutet, Stress Research Institute, Stockholm University; Internship at Ospedale Sant'Andrea, Rome; Internship at the Center de sommeil, Hotel Dieu, Paris. Organization of postgraduate Sleep Medicine courses for general practitioners, medical specialist, nurses and pharmacists. Organizing committee of several national and international conferences and guest speaker at several scientific events. Coordinator of several awareness campaigns, namely the Wake Up Bus project, which included a study about sleepiness at wheel including 19 European countries and an European Union symposium on the same topic. Several publications in Sleep Medicine in referenced international journals.
