EN- Brigitte Anabelle Vaz de Abreu Hiller. Obtained the title Habilitation (Agregação) in Physics in 1999 at University of Coimbra, Portugal, the degree Doktor Rer. Nat. (PhD) Physik in 1980 at Ruprecht Karls Universität Heidelberg, Germany. Is presently Research Coordinator (career) at University of Coimbra. Published more than 150 articles in scientific journals. During her professional activities has been affiliated to several institutions (in Germany, France, USA, Portugal). Has been project coordinator of thirteen long duration projects and participated in further nineteen projects, of which five in European Networks (Cost Actions and 7th Framework Programme of EU). Actual areas of interest: Elementary particle physics, Hadron Physics and the QCD phase diagram. Development of tools of regularization/renormalization (Implicit Regularization), applications in theories of Chern-Simons, Lorentz and CPT violation, SuSy-Yang-Mills, chiral anomalies, Higgs sector of the Standard Model, precision calculations. Foi PI de treze projetos de longa duração e integrou a equipa de investigação de outros dezanove projetos dos quais cinco em redes europeias (Cost Actions e sétimo quadro europeu da EU). Atuais áreas de investigação: Física das partículas elementares, dos hadrões e diarama de fases da QCD. Desenvolvimento de ferramentes de regualrização/renormalização (Implicit Regularization), aplicação em teorias de Chern-Simons, violação de Lorentz e CPT, SuSy-Yang-Mills, anomalias quirais, setor Higgs, cálculos de precisão no Modelo Padrão. Teoria de informação quântica relativista.
