PhD Candidate in Law at NOVA School of Law - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where she completed her Master's Degree in Law and
Security in 2019. She holds a PhD fellowship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), with a project
that seeks to analyse the legal-philosophical nature of cyberspace as a legal heterotopia. She was the Project Manager of
the Intra-Africa Pax Lusófona project, funded by the Education Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), and a member
of the Executive Coordination of the Master's Degree in Public Law and Sustainable Development at the University of São Tomé
and Príncipe. She is a researcher at CEDIS – Research & Development Centre on Law and Society and an internal security auditor.
She is a member of AEQUALITAS: Justice, Democracy and Citizenship without Borders, a project financed by public funds through
the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and a Junior Researcher at CIDRA Network - Creating a Joint Infrastructure
for Dialogue, Research and Advocacy between Europe and Africa. She has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University
of Lisbon (2016). She was a researcher at the NOVA Refugee Clinic - Legal Clinic between 2020 and 2023. She was awarded a
grant from IAPMEI, I.P., from 2018 to 2019 as part of an entrepreneurship project (selected under the StartUP Voucher Measure,
promoted by the StartUP Portugal Programme). Her research areas are Philosophy of Law, Sociology of Law, Human Rights and
International Law.
