Verónica Nogueira is a researcher at CIIMAR and Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto. She has a PhD in Biology and a MSc degree in Toxicology and Ecotoxicology, from the University of Aveiro. Her main research area has been nanoecotoxicology, terrestrial and aquatic ecology and ecotoxicology, wastewater treatment (chemical and biological treatments) and reuse, waste valorization, sustainable use of residues, soil quality and risk assessment. Dr. Verónica Nogueira has been very active in guiding or co-supervising more than 16 undergraduate and master's students. She is currently the author/co-author of 20 articles published in scientific journals (h-index 13) with more than 400 citations, several papers in Technical Journals, 1 Patent, two books and one book chapter, 20 oral communications and 26 poster presentations at national and international conferences. In addition, she is involved in several national and international research projects.
