| 2006 - 2006 | The "Luso-Expedição 2006" was a scientific expedition on board of the ship "Creoula", which aimed to study the biodiversity, evolution and ecological aspects of the fauna found in the seamounts of the Gorringe Bank, in the Atlantic Ocean. The expedition allowed to increase the number of species identified in the Gorringe Bank by 43%, and some of the species identified were new to science.
